Dashboard support

Working with the Oavora dashboard

How do I add or remove users?

Go to Workspace settings → Users → Invite. Roles can be assigned at workspace, branch, or group level.

How do I switch between workspaces?

Use the workspace switcher in the top-left of the dashboard. Resellers and HQ teams can hold many workspaces in one account.

Where do I update billing details?

Visit Workspace settings → Billing. For enterprise contracts, contact your account manager.

Content management

Uploads, playlists, and approvals

What file formats are supported?

Images (JPG, PNG, WebP), videos (MP4, WebM), and PDF. Each player has minimum codecs documented in the player guides.

How does the approval workflow work?

Uploaded content stays in a pending state until an approver signs off. Once approved, content can be added to playlists and pushed to screens.

How are old or unused files cleaned up?

Storage cleanup rules let you auto-remove content that hasn't been scheduled or played in N days, freeing player storage automatically.

Licensing

Player licenses, reclaimed and reused

How do I transfer a license to a new device?

Deactivate the old player from your dashboard. The license becomes available and can be paired to the replacement device.

What happens to my license if hardware fails?

Licenses are bound to a hardware fingerprint, but you can manually free a license from the dashboard if a device is unrecoverable.

Network & connectivity

Firewall, MQTT, and offline behavior

Which ports does Oavora need open?

HTTPS (443) for content sync and dashboard, plus the secure MQTT port for the real-time channel. Specific values are listed in the network guide for your deployment.

What happens if a player goes offline?

Players keep playing locally cached content per their last received schedule. They reconnect automatically and resume sync when the network comes back.

Account & users

Roles, permissions, and access

What roles are available?

Owner, Admin, Content Editor, and Viewer. Each role can be scoped to the entire workspace, a branch, or a device group.

Can I require SSO for my workspace?

Yes — SSO/LDAP is available on Enterprise plans. Talk to your account manager to enable it.
